8 reasons to visit Seoul for your next School Break

South Korea may not be the number one travel destination for many, but there so many reasons why you should visit the morning calm country for the next school holidays. From history to culture to beauty products and food, you really need to visit South Korea at least once in your lifetime and what better time then the school holidays!!!!

Fascinating History  – South Koreans have many traditions which are kept alive over hundreds of years. You can still enjoy watching traditional dances and music performances, and do take the opportunity to dress in the traditional hanbok – you can rent it to wear around Seoul at the grand palaces and also traditional hanok teahouses in cosy neighborhoods some which have been around for decades.

Myeongdong shopping street is barely a 10 minutes stroll away and you can find plenty of convenient stores nearby, CU and 7-11!  There are also many cafes and restaurants nearby….

Even the airport shuttle (Euljiro 2-ga stop) is just across the road!!

Euljiro 3-ga Subway Station is barely 2-3 minutes away which is also super very convenient to get to other parts of Seoul…

You can walk to Cheonggyecheon as well as Gwangjang Market in 10-15 minutes

The rooms at Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro are very clean , modern minimalist  but cosy and comfortable with adequate power sockets. 

There’s a microwave, self coin laundry & ironing board in the laundry room on the 2nd floor. 

The staff at the front desk are very friendly & helpful and just safe and perfect for a solo traveller like me
