Thanks to Tourism Malaysia Sentral, my friends and I had a chance to experience the not-so-new one-of-a-kind horror experience, Hauntu along with a few other bloggers…

Located on the second floor of The LINC KL, Hauntu offers horror fans and thrill seekers a chance to immerse themselves in an experience so much different from the conventional “haunted” house (no, it’s nothing like Night or Frights, Halloween Horror Nights or such)

You can expect professional and real actors inside Hauntu, which you really have to interact and cooperate with (to get your clues or to help you find a away out) or run from (when they get possessed) in the intricate maze that the Colle Eastern Hotel is…. And you and your team have to make decisions that will affect the outcome of the experience…

My personal experience was at the second chapter of the story- The Tourist, but rest assured, like a Star Wars movie.. You can enjoy the experience at any time or together with all the series/episodes to understand the whole tale…

Sypnosis of the story : Having not received a word from your brother in a very long time, you were pleasantly surprised when a letter arrived in the mail inviting you and some friends to spend Merdeka Day at the Colle Eastern Hotel where he works. You arrive at the hotel at 1 am in the morning, weary from a full day of travel, and overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the city befitting such a momentous occasion. You want nothing more than to settle in for a good night’s rest in your hotel bed when things take a sinister and horrifying turn, giving you and your friends a night you will long to forget…

Upon arrival at Hauntu, you will be checked in to the Colle Eastern Hotel, and someone in the team will be selected as “Aidil”, Aidil has a brother, Aizat, who is missing..

Your story begins at the Colle Cafe where you get your welcome drink (it is a real welcome drink and you can drink it)… then you will be checked in to your room… And things go chaotic from there….

Just consider yourself as one of the actors in a horror movie, one whom is clueless about the script… And whatever choices you make will impact your ending..

My friends and I were definitely impressed with the storyline that challenged and also the addition of characters during the whole experience feel so surreal. And we definitely were spooked many times during the “journey”… You’ve been warned! So go on, dare to check in at Colle Eastern Hotel, Hauntu…. It will be an experience you will not forget.. And oh, do be sure to dress in comfy or sporty clothes.. (there is crawling involved)…
