Once again we have been called upon to do our part in helping the government control the Covid-19 pandemic by staying home with the new CMCO order to hopefully reduce the spread of Covid-19… And with that comes cooking, cleaning after cooking, washing etc….

I decided to spend the current Klang Valley CMCO with my best friend at his home in the Petaling district with my daughter and so we decided we needed a break from taking turns cooking for CMCO….

So since we learnt Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie was/and still is offering a tempting list of take away meals selection specially prepared by their chefs, we decided to order in…

This take away sets offer is just priced from RM 18 nett and offers an array of selections such as Asam Pedas Ikan Siakap, Lamb or Chicken Masala Set, Chicken Buttermilk Set, Black Pepper Prawn, Beef, or Chicken Burger, Spaghetti with Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Katsu Curry Bento, Prawn Tempura Bento, and Grilled Salmon Bento…..

The food presentation however was perfect and made the food looked appetizing…

My best friend ordered both the Asam Pedas Ikan Siakap Set and Chicken Buttermilk Set.. The Chicken Buttermilk Set was quite good but needed more gravy… But it was good..

While I ordered the Lamb Masala Set for my daughter and the Prawn Tempura Bento for myself….

I think the Lamb Masala was pretty good and my Prawn Tempura Bento set too, but it would be nicer if they added an extra miso soup as the rice felt a bit dry.. My Prawn Tempura Bento came with pickled daikon and ginger, salad, dipping sauce for the prawns as well as cut fruits…
