Food Review 2021 -Fuiyoh Live Food Theatre by FourPoints Chinatown KL

Quan’s Kitchen at FourPoints by Sheraton Chinatown Kuala Lumpur is celebrating food institutions and local culinary districts that are home to the ever popular comforting specialties that every Malaysian is proud of..

You can now feast your heart out at Fuiyoh Live Food Theatre, a specially curated lunch buffet featuring a vibrant range from Ayer Itam assam laksa, Ampang yong tau foo, and nasi kerabu to kolo mee and more!…

Yours truly had a wonderful time walking down memory lane and indulging in all her favorite comfort food under one roof and in air conditioned comfort with attentive staff at none other then the swanky Quan’s Kitchen…

Armed with a face mask and a plastic glove while abiding the health ministry Covid-19 SOP, I was a happy kid floating up and down the restaurant especially at the open kitchen and where the food were prepared… All dishes are prepared fresh and you can order as many tomes as you wish…

Like who can resist Kopitiam food like some soft boiled egg with soya sauce and pepper drizzled on it, or some kaya toasts, a good cup of coffee or tea….

Being a Penangite, I also love my share of Penang Assam Laksa with its garnishing and thick rich and fishy soup… And of course, the stir fried carrot cake or char koay kak…

I also love my Yong Tau Foo and who can resist the other laksa- the nyonya Curry Laksa… Or also known to Penangites as Curry Mee…

A plate of Rice – to – Wednesday (kiddin, I mean Nasi Kerabu), which I think if one of the most vibrant or attractively looking dish from Kelantan, and as they say, a dish with the medley of land and sea, since you taste fish and field in every mouthful….

And for those who have visited the land of the Hornbills, will crave the delicious Kolo mee with minced chicken and mushrooms… And I simply love the one the chef served…

Don’t forget the Ikan Bakar or Grilled Fish and also Braised Duck..

And do not forget to indulge in those Lo Han Ko drinks or Air Mata Kuching which Petaling Street is well known for…

And yes… ABC and Cendol for a sweet and perfect ending to your feasting….

And there is even a whole table of old skool kind of “jajan” or street snacks for kids.. That bring out the child in me…..

Overall, it was truly a delightful experience feasting and feeling like walking down memory lane with old skool favorites and yummy comfort food….

Check out Fuiyoh buffet now serving every Wednesday to Friday, from 12:00pm – 2:30pm, at only 68 nett per adult…
