A visit to The Top, Penang…

Recently, when in Penang, one of my best friends said he wanted to visit The Top…

The Top is nothing new to me, as I have been here before and I enjoy it here as it is a pretty huge and one of the best indoor theme parks (the best in Penang) with more than 18 themed attractions in one iconic destination….

Visitors to The Top will have never-ending fun on the highest tower in Penang…. Visitors can Eat, Play and Learn here at the same time and same place, thus it is an awesome place to spread joy and enjoy happy moments with your friends and loved ones….

My bestie wanted to visit the Penang Boutique Aquarium and so we headed there first…

It sure was a fun experience as we checked out the flora and fauna of the underwater world there at Penang Boutique Aquarium!

I personally loved how they made the experience just so immersive with hints of Peranakan Penang added in  in the first exhibit… And the 2nd exhibit which was just all glow in the dark neon colours fishes and corals…

The exhibits beyond were pretty cool as well with river, reefs and fresh water fishes all on display

After our little aquarium trip, we headed up to The Top to the Window of the World, a place which never fails to wow me…

I mean, it starts of with how The Top was built etc… And ends with the window opening to your first glimpse of the breathtaking birds eye view of Penang…

Then there is of course the air-conditioned Observatory Deck at Level 65 which features a glass walkway that lets you watch the world go by below…. I am ok with it but my bestie got nervous at the sight and I allowed myself to be dragged away laughingly…

Be a daredevil on The Top Rainbow Skywalk on the 68th floor if you dare… Here you can challenge yourself and get some adrenaline pumping at the  thrilling experience of walking on air 816 feet above sea level from Heritage Georgetown 360 and a stunning seamless view of George Town with a panoramic view… It is truly a priceless experience….

Sometimes, in the this modern world, it is good to use our imagination and well, take the chance to travel back in time to when dinosaurs ruled the Earth and uncover the mysteries of the planet’s prehistoric past….

The Jurassic Research Center brings over 200 dinosaurs back to life (with the help of the latest animatronics technology) to create a hands-on interactive activity center of epic proportions.  Meet these fascinating creatures from millions of years ago!

The Jurassic Research Center takes you through a fun and educational  journey for both kids and adults where they can experience the life size dinosaurs in their habitat. Come see the lost world that was once alive million years ago through the eye of science!

Trick yourself and have a crazy fun time at the mirror maze…

There are many unexpected nooks and crannies to deceiving dead ends and endless circles – laugh your way out and proclaim yourself a Maze Master!

A tip would be to feel your way out or find the mirror or way that does not have your reflection staring back at you…

Cos you will be seeing infinite reflections of yourself in every wrong directions….

I really missed not getting to celebrate Halloween these 2 years… And it was a little bit of scary fun to enter the Zombie Outbreak attraction….

Here you are not safe as well… The dead have risen, and they’re hungry. The walking dead are out to feast on humans and you are their target… Soo.. Can you outrun them? Psst.. Be prepared for jumpscares but not to worry as the zombies won’t really hurt you…

It was also fun to be able to get lost in a whirlwind of lights, colors, intricate details and an array of playful ponies and other creatures… Even a cat or two (?) in the Musical Carousel. Let your inner child out and indulge this whimsical ride for a wondrous magical experience

Last and not least, we headed to the Ocean Explorer, and imagined ourselves explorers in the submarine heading into the depths of the sea…

After all, it is a well known fact that than 70% of our planet consists of water….The Ocean Explorer gives you the opportunity to explore the beauty and mysteries of the deep blue seas first-hand on a journey with high-resolution surrounding projectors that create a seamless and almost-reality show of the underwater realm.

Here you can immerse your senses in the depths of the ocean and explore pristine coral reefs in a virtual submarine… It is fun as you get to meet marine life such as sharks, whales and dolphins – without getting drenched! But beware that rogue shark….. What happens next is you have to go on this ride to find out…. Heheheh…

We ended our trip to The Top with a huge glass of herbal drink at Only Mee  to quench our thirst ..

A trip to The Top Penang, is definitely a must for those visiting Penang…

Currently the offer price is RM75 per adult or RM55 per child for the 3 main attractions – aquarium, Jurassic and skywalk…

Or you can get full tickets at RM108 per adult or RM88 per child for all 16 attractions for the whole day…
