Food Review 2022 -Oodles of Noodles now at WXYZ!

Malaysia and Asia are famous for being a melting pot of flavours, so WXYZ, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral have curated a lip smacking menu of nourishing noodles, that brings the best of Asia to you – in a big way and the launch also include a lo hei tossing of noodles .

Aloft KL Sentral’s creative culinary team has dish out a spicy and tangy Pad Thai, for a taste of Thailand, and a veggie-licious Japchae that will make you say “Daebak!” so you don’t need to pay for a plane ticket to enjoy these supersized noods ….

Instead you can enjoy the smoky ‘wok hei’ of Phad Thai, topped with shrimp, bean sprouts, chives, crushed peanuts, and served with chilli and lime, or enjoy this throwback to the royal origins of Korean Japchae, where a humble and healthy vegetable and noodle dish charmed the King.

WXYZ’s version sees the glassy potato noodles stir-fried with soy sauce, honey, spinach, mushrooms, mixed vegetables and black pepper.

The culinary team at Aloft KL Sentral are also offering their take of East Malaysia’s beatific bowls of Kolo Mee, a dish created by Chinese immigrants in Sarawak generations ago, that has become a Sarawakian signature today.

Chow down on BBQ chicken, bok choy and a fried wanton, sitting on top of wanton noodles and drizzled in a garlic, sesame and caramel soy sauce, with pickled chilli on the side.

Nook’s popular, authentic Sarawak Laksa is also on offer, with spice lovers able to indulge in this peppery broth filled with vermicelli, prawns, chicken, shredded omelette, bean sprouts and topped with coriander leaves, with sambal on the side.

WXYZ will definitely be continuing to spice up your life, with their creamy Beef Curry Noodles, chock full of sliced beef, fish cakes, bean curd, crispy tau foo pok, long beans and eggplant, in a bowl of spicy curry.

For something that feels a little more guilt-free, try the delicate Anchovy Meesua, with the soup rich in flavour thanks to our anchovy stock, and topped with wheat meesua, steamed chicken, golden anchovies, bok choy, crispy shallots, and a poached egg.

Each bowl of noodles has between 300 – 350g of noodles, twice the normal amount you’d get outside the hotel, so you’re definitely getting Oodles of Noodles! Prices range from RM32 – RM38 nett per bowl.

That’s not all, Aloft KL Sentral is kicking off the promotion with a bang and challenging guests to beat the heat! For the first month, stand a chance to win a 2D1N stay for two, inclusive of breakfast at Aloft, if you finish their special bowl of Super Spicy Noodles and a Spicy Shot (non-alcoholic) within 1 minute, without drinking anything. The staff will record your time, with the fastest time at the end of the contest period winning the stay.
