It is always an amazing experience when you wake up at a water village in the morning, surrounded by the sea and the morning sun breaking through the horizon…

And the sun rise was definitely an amazing experience to view…

…as well as shoals of bait fishes swarming the area…..and an occasional peekaboo from a passing curious turtle…

We had our breakfast at the dining area and got packed as all good things had to come to an end and our journey had to continue… we checked out of Starz Water Village and headed back to Semporna where Mat was waiting with our van…. He picked us up and took us to Tawau….

The Peak is located on a hill at an elevation of 1234 ft above sea level… It is said that you haven’t quite seen Tawau until you have seen it from the Peak Observation Deck and enjoy the panoramic views of Tawau surrounded by forest reserve and palm oil plantations…

The Peak is a nice place to chill as it is cooling and comes with almost 360 degrees’ beautiful views… Entrance fee is just rm10/pax. If you have not been here, you should visit once. They also serve food and drinks here.

Tawau Cocoa Museum is the perfect place for chocolate lovers to be ! Here you can learn more about cocoa, and its processing at Sabah’s biggest cocoa producer, Tech Guan Cocoa Museum.

Being Sabah’s cocoa producer, Tech Guan Cocoa now has a museum dedicated to educating the general public about the wonders of cocoa. And when you are here, you can look forward to tasting their delicious cocoa-derived snacks, such as chocolate popcorn and chocolate batang buruk.

Sri Titingan Seafood Isnaji is a Malay owned seafood restaurant in Tawau which offers a wide range of seafood dishes for pretty reasonable prices!!! Prices are seriously pretty mind-blowing affordable here…

The food is pretty good, fresh and definitely affordable!!! Really should give this a try if you happen to be in Tawau!!!
