Hotel Review 2023 – Tune Hotel KLIA – KLIA2

When I arrived at KLIA2 from Tokyo, I was really exhausted.. after all, I have had a pretty tiring trip with plenty of walking (chalking up an average of 20000 steps a day) and getting even less sleep since sunrise in Tokyo is 4am Tokyo Time which is 3am Malaysian time….and I badly needed a good rest…

So checking into the Tune Hotel KLIA at KLIA2 was one of my better ideas as I badly needed rest and solitude… I was pretty much expecting a comfortable bed in a decent hotel but that was not how it went…

Stepping foot through the sliding doors of the Tune Hotel KLIA was like stepping into a stylish posh hotel…It was really beautiful and awe inspiring…

The front office staff were welcoming and I was quickly checked in and the front office manager showed me to my room…

My room was another revelation !!! I checked into the Premium Queen room which was about 18 – 20 m² … and that was pretty spacious…

The first thing I saw was the cosy alcove seating that came with a work/ coffee table and of course the very welcoming and comfortable queen sized bed with 4 plush pillows…

Guests can definitely go into a deeper state of relaxation in the Premium Queen Room as it has been fitted with Circadian Lighting System by Philips that allows you to adjust the right ambient light levels to help you melt away to deep, uninterrupted sleep.

As for charging your smartphones and laptops, the room comes equipped with multi-region plug points, along with ample USB charging.

When I was not sleeping, I was binging on one of my Korean dramas on Netflix on the 43” Samsung Smart LED TV on the wall

Showering was also a treat in the en-suite bathroom with a hand held shower as well as large rain shower… along with exclusive essential oils based toiletries by Jeanie Botanicals!!!

Yeah, Tune Hotel KLIA is definitely for the discerning traveller in search of a stylish, reasonably priced airport hotel just steps away from the KLIA2 arrival hall and it definitely does not compromise on comfort.

Tune Hotel KLIA features a 24 hour dining option, a full service bar, co-working spaces, and even corporate meeting rooms.

Tune Hotel KLIA-KLIA2 has a range of innovations, such as Day Use Transit rooms, Park and Fly packages, and Priority Airport Check-in programs to help make your airport hotel experience as easy as possible.

I had a great breakfast at the buffet breakfast line at the swanky looking MAKAN Restaurant which can sit up to 120 pax

MAKAN Restaurant offers Asian/Western menu options and I ordered their Set Istimewa that consist of a set of Malaysian local favorites such as Ulam-Ulam, Sambal, Cucur Bawang, Ikan Assam Pedas, Udang Masak Lemak, Terung Berlada, Ayam Masak Merah served with white rice and iced lemon tea, all came served attractively on a tray..this set can feed up to 3 people!!!

Even if you are feeling peckish, you can get some snacks that is sold at their Grab and Go at the lobby area…

Tune Hotel KLIA is also convenient when chasing early morning flights, layovers, or a great place to stay in Sepang… you can even board the free bus to Mitsui and or stroll around KLIA Gateway, or hop on a bus or the ERL to KL if you want to….
