I was one of the lucky ones that was invited to the recent guardian Malaysia hosted Get.Set.Glow., an invite-only holistic retreat…. The retreat also connected the retail chain’s curation of a hundred of its best wellbeing brands with invited guests consisting of influencers to help them nurture their health and wellness.

Get.Set.Glow. was an event that is designed and guided by the vision of ‘nurturing our wellbeing’. A holistic approach that everyone should embrace, which centers on prioritizing our own health, happiness, and fulfillment so that we can be the best version of ourselves to our family, friends, colleagues and everyone else around us!!!

Get.Set.Glow. is about humanity’s belief for growth; of wanting to learn about what’s out there to become holistically well and pick-up new ‘skills and know- how ’to help the self be healthy.

The wellbeing brands at the retreat had their team of consultants and representatives present to engage the influencers about their latest offerings.

Five of the brand partners (Anlene, Blackmores, Benourish, Nugevity and VitaHealth) even offer to screen the event’s guests for specific health concerns i.e. bone health, eye health, etc as part of a 60-day wellbeing challenge.

Besides learning about nutritional and supplemental food offerings for wellbeing, the invited influencers also get to learn the ‘secrets ’of holistic wellbeing from the diverse background of speakers and coaches present on the 19th of July.

There was indeed a good selection of speakers from medical doctors to nutritionists, pharmacist, fitness guru, yoga teacher, sleep consultant, aromatherapist and holistic wellness practitioners to guide and educate us on new skills for inner strength and outer wellness and be holistically well…

The Get.Set.Glow. retreat is also a kick-off for guardian Malaysia’s 3- month wellbeing roadshow that will take place in Mid Valley Exhibition Centre and One Utama from mid-August 2024. Curated wellness brands and other related services will be accessible to the members of the public at these three roadshows.
