Have you ever tried North Indian cuisine.. If you have, you definitely know that it is one of the most delicious around…  I fell in love with the taste when I first tried it, some time ago…


Rich aromatic gravies; moist flavorful meat which have been cooked perfectly and spicy stir fried vegetables and so on…

What makes North Indian food irresistible is the fact that most of the dishes are prepared with pure desi ghee or doused in fresh cream.. and it is prepared meticulously painstakingly so that when you take a bite of the dishes, you will definitely be in foodie heaven

So yours truly, a blogger friend Reia and some celebrity friends were invited over to BANGLE Publika, an award winning Indian restaurant located at Publika Solaris Dutamas, just across the road from Starbucks and Baskin Robbins 31..

The restaurant and bar were definitely designed with simplicity with the basics in classic, contemporary and artistic influence that will ease you into a whole new gastronomic experience.

They have a pretty extensive wine and champagne list, beers on draft and premium liquors with the focus on handcrafted specialty cocktails that will leave the taste buds wanting more. It is a ‘one of its kind’ bar and lounge that also combines and serves authentic but modern Indian appetizers and entrees.

Since my friends and I, with the exception of Reia do not drink, we enjoyed the mocktails served up instead…


I had the Passion Nojito RM15, which is a light version of the classic mojito, and this is just non-alcoholic and perfect for passionfruit lovers or even youngsters

Besides the Passion Nojito, you can also choose from other mocktails, such as Charleston, Cinderella, Island Cooler and also Coco Pine..


We had some Mutton Keema RM26.00 basically made from minced mutton and spices. It does somewhat resemble some keropok lekor from afar, but when you bite into a piece of it, it is really so tasty…

The Mutton curry RM26 was also just really so good, with tender mutton meat cooked in North Indian style curry perfect to be eaten with the tandoori bread or even some nasi biryani…


The Sizzling Prawn RM26.90 is also irresistible. It is one of the signature dishes here and once you try it, you definitely know why….


The Tandoori Chicken RM14.90 is nicely marinated and prepared as well and taste just as it is suppose to, flavorful and yummy…


The Butter Chicken RM20.90 is something you really shouldn’t miss out on.. made from boneless chicken pieces marinated in yogurt and whole spice before being cooked in tandoor clay and cooked with butter and tomato gravy…

As for vegetable dishes, I cannot resist the Aloo Gobi RM14.90, a spicy potato and cauliflower dish, which is just so yummy …


I loved eating all those with the Garlic Naan RM6.50 or Garlic Cheese Naan RM9.50, but if you are more of a rice person, I seriously recommend you to eat it with the Biryani RM5.50 M/RM9.00 L…

To finish a great dinner, we had some of their signature Kulfi. Kulfi is for your info, Indian ice cream made from fresh milk, and I had the Badam Kulfi RM9.90

Overall, we had an amazing dinner there and all the dishes were really good.. My personal favorites were definitely the Aloo Gobi, Sizzling Prawns and Butter Chicken..
