Just as we arrived at The Danna, the concierge took our luggage and bags from us, then my friend and I were ushered to the sitting area where we were urged to sit while they checked us in…

A welcome drink in the form of a refreshing apple cinnamon drink as well as a cling wrapped cold towel were served for our comfort before two masseurs approached to offer us a complimentary 3 minute back massage..

Once they finished checking us in and getting the rooms ready in like just less then 10 minutes, a staff took us for a little tour to familiarised us with the restaurants and hotel amenities before showing us to our room….

Our room was the Viceroy Twin room which had views of the magnificent swimming pool and the sea beyond that made me truly blessed to be alive and experiencing this…

Just so you know, the Danna Langkawi is a 5-star luxury resort is surrounded by enchanting nature with a secluded 2km beach, and built with Colonial-Mediterranean inspired architecture…

It is strategically located at Telaga Harbour Park, and despite being in the middle of various attractions, guests at The Danna will never have a reason to leave the hotel unless they absolutely have to…  I for one decided to just indulge myself for a much needed break with just resting, swimming, eating and doing nothing much except maybe updating my blog/soc med this trip…

The Danna Langkawi is an elegant classical white 5-storey hotel that is gracefully poised next to the marina at Perdana Quay and overlooks the Andaman Sea….

My room – the Viceroy Twin Room is 65sqm and comes with 2 single beds with pillow-top mattress; a private balcony facing the sea and pool;

.. a spacious bathroom with twin vanities and a dressing area; a separate rainfall shower and a soaking tub and our beds came with plush oversized feather pillows and duvet….

The Danna has the largest 3-tiered infinity pool on the island with an outdoor Jacuzzi and children’s pool, and it was truly blissful swimming or soaking inthe pool especially on a hot day….

Those who enjoy their workout will have no complains with the very well equipped The Danna Fitness centre which is located on the top floor and opened from 6am to 11pm….

My friend and I had a lovely and truly rejuvenating time at the The Danna Spa which houses 6 single and 2 couple rooms…. She had a Malay Urut done while I went for the Balinese Massage with Maknah, my masseur who hails from Lombok…

Our spa room overlooked the harbour and was just truly amazing, and I just blissfully gave my body up to Maknah to work her magic.. I definitely felt my aches and pains deminished after the hour long treatment…

Using only premium products, the spa offers various treatments from massage, scrub, manicure to facial, Kids Spa and more….

Guests of The Danna Langkawi can also enjoy complimentary access to Billiard Room, Reading Room and Games Room located on the first floor….

And when our car arrived to send us to the airport, there were almost half a dozen staff waving us a fond farewell, and that kind of made me teary eyed…..
