Food Review 2020 – Just Seafood, Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara

The folks of Louisiana, from the USA, enjoys spreading their seafood (consisting of crabs, clams, prawns, etc) all over the table before feasting on it with friends and family members using just hands to eat while making a huge mess and having fun!!!

Just Seafood wanted to bring that joy and experience to Malaysia, therefore explored the same concept of using Cajun spices together with a concoction of garlic and other local spices to create localised flavors for Malaysians of all walks of life to indulge in…

So when you head to Just Seafood restaurant in Sunway Giza, Kota Damansara, you can tuck into some of the freshest seafood which will be prepared painstakingly with other ingredients to give the seafood a unique depth of flavor…..

To indulge, just order the seafood as per requirement – you can choose from 2 pax – RM105, 4 pax – RM208 or 6 pax – RM311

You will be getting a generous portion of crab, prawns, mussels, clams and vegetables such as potatoes, carrots and corn poured onto the middle of your table with your selected sauce…

You can also opt for a preference of spice level (normal, medium, hot. Or super hot)…

If you are hungry or a big eater, you probably might like to add on some rice or fried Man Tao/sweet buns..

We got to try 2 of their signature sauces yesterday…
The Original Cajun Sauce and the Butter Cream Milk… (there are another 2 sauce flavours – Signature Curry and Golden Salted Egg)

Personally, and since I am a spice lover, I could not get enough of the Original Cajun Sauce….

The Nelayan Platter comes with prawns, crab, squids, baby octopus, clams, mussels and cockles. The platter is perfect to share with your besties or your loved ones and you will love the fresh flavours once topped with their signature sweet, sourish and spicy sauce which makes the dish simply appetising!

If you like fritters, you really should try the Seafood Basket with Mixed Seafood (RM24 Regular /RM46 Large)

These seafood are all coated and deep fried to soft pillowy perfection and simply delicious dipped in the accompanying tartar sauce…

Fresh shellfish lovers should not miss out on the LIVE US Oyster (1pc RM18 / 4pcs +1 free RM72) which has been imported from USA. These oysters are really fresh and generously sized and taste great with a dash of lemon and some tabasco sauce….

For localised flavours, order their Steamed Cockles (RM 18 for 1/2 kg)which are also pretty big sized and taste great with the signature green sambal sauce

Naturally, I quenched my thirst with their Butterfly Pea Tea RM9.90, one of their signature drinks…
