Vivatel Kuala Lumpur offers uniquely-themed rooms inspired by nature, and are designed to reflect the 5 elements which are Water, Fire, Wood, Earth, and Metal.

Recently, I was blessed enough to be given the opportunity to stay over there on the Platinum Floor with some of my close friends and we took the Family Connecting Room which was pretty impressive…

This Family Connecting Rooms comes with 2 interconnecting Supreme Deluxe Rooms measuring about 54sqm or 27sqm each… The first offers a King-sized bed, while the second comes with two Single beds. A spacious accommodation perfect for a memorable bonding time for family or close friends

The Platinum Floor rooms comes with Aigner Black toiletries!!!!

My room mural gave the feeling of us sleeping on the clouds while a huge plane fly pass us…

While the other room gave off the feeling of having the most comfortable glamping in the world with nature just outside…

The bathrooms were also pretty swanky with golden tiles that made my shower seemed somewhat decadent, especially when using Aigner Black toiletries…

The elaborate design of the 60sqm Executive Suite matches the array of amenities you can enjoy when you stay here. Stress and worry have no room here, and this suite will make sure everything you need is within reach.

The Grand Suite is perfect for big groups of travelers who want to spend cosy nights in. This suite comes with a living room area and a kitchenette, ideal for days when you just want to stay in… It is veritable a small apartment..

The Duplex Suite comes a living area that is large enough to have friends over for a coffee and for business travelers to have discussions. There is also a Nespresso Coffee Machine for coffee lovers.

A working desk is set at the corner of the room, and also a toilet for some quick business.

On the 2nd floor of the Duplex Suite, there is open-concept bath and shower, which also feature a bathtub set right beside the King-sized bed, separated only by glass. Very sexy!!!

The Duplex Suite is definitely more suited for couples who enjoy intimacy and the lack of privacy due to the open concept bath and shower adds to the lovey-dovey feel of the suite.

Vivatel Kuala Lumpur is well connected to Viva Shopping Mall (though there’s nothing much the mall has to offer – being a pretty sad looking mall – especially after the Covid-19 aftermath, you can still grab essentials, snacks or your favorite Starbucks)…

Vivatel also offers a great venue for occasions such as weddings, parties, graduations, meetings, conferences, seminars, or incentive programs. It has one of the largest pillar-free Grand Ballroom with a maximum capacity of 1200 persons (the number might be smaller due to social distancing guidelines) and four other meeting rooms….

There are also two food and beverage outlets available, namely Retro Cafe and Retro Lounge, which provide International and Asian Cuisine. Breakfast is served at the Retro Cafe, located on the LG floor of the hotel.

Lunch, tea-time, dinner are also served at the Retro Cafe… Yours truly and friends had tried our some of their dishes on the menu and we have to say these dishes were all very tasty, well presented and value for money…

Vivatel has a pretty generous swimming pool… There is also a gym beside the swimming pool, set in an aesthetic Japanese type decor surrounded by plants which emitted the feeling of zen… The gym is kinda small but you can have a reasonably good work out here.
