Hotel Review 2022/2023 – Putrajaya Marriott Hotel

Putrajaya Marriott Hotel was opened way back in 2003 but has underwent and is undergoing some renovations … the majestic looking hotel is a combination of a Mediterranean-Moorish style hotel set amidst lush green garden pretty strategically located about 25 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur city centre, Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Sepang International Circuit….

Putrajaya Marriott Hotel boasts 380 elegant and spacious guest rooms, 73 Executive rooms and 35 exclusive suites and is located within the integrated township of IOI Resort City….

My daughter and I came for a short break away from the mundane city life and get some mother- daughter bonding time especially since we have been each busy with our own things…

The Grand Lobby is pretty welcoming and very spacious with high ceilings with the contemporary colour palette of timbers and panels. Checking in is a breeze with friendly and professional staff waiting to welcome you..

We checked into a pretty spacious Deluxe Room (387sqft)… The room is bright and welcoming with a lovely daybed next to the window and a super comfy King sized bed… and a magnificent view of the pool and part of Putrajaya….

All rooms in Putrajaya Marriott Hotel comes with a large LED television with satellite channels, personal in-room safe, steam iron and ironing board.

The bathrooms come with a separate bathtub and glass shower cubicle with lovely bathroom amenities which are all This Works bath and body collection…. The hair shampoo and conditioner made my hair manageably soft and the shower gel was also luxurious….

We headed to the d’Oracle Coffee Lounge at the lobby for some high tea which came with hibiscus tea…

d’Oracle Coffee Lounge is a nice modern setting with cosy and comfortable seating areas for guests to relax and chill over a cup of coffee or a nice high tea set which my girl and I were having for that day…

The IOI City Mall is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The four-storey megamall is a sprawling shopping, lifestyle and entertainment shopping hub with hundreds of shops, a cinema, indoor ice-skating rink, and theme park in Putrajaya. The hotel provides free hourly shuttle services for hotel guest to IOI City Mall too, and for that my daughter and I had a great time having our dinner at the mall as well as catching the latest Black Panther movie together….

Putrajaya Marriott Hotel has pretty cool facilities on site, which includes the beautiful lagoon shaped swimming pool, Fitness Centre and a children’s playroom – Kiddies World, making it a great place for a little weekend or even weekday family getaway…

As for the breakfast spread, can I say that it is just one of the top 10 favorite breakfast spread I have around KL or even Malaysia… the breakfast buffet at Zest coffee house is just generous, tempting and delicious….
