If you are heading to Seoul and looking for a convenient place to stay, Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro is the place to be at!!!

The Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro hotel in Seoul is just about 30 metres or only a couple of minutes walk from Entrance 1 & 2 of Eiljiro 3-ga subway station… and I certainly used that station a lot!!!

Euljiro 3-ga station is directly connected (without any interchange stations) to some popular places, such as Hongik, Gangnam, Gyeongbokgung, Ewha Woman Uni, Dongdaemun History and Culture Park etc.

The underground station is also comfortable and safe to walk in whatever weather.. for those wanting to take the airport bus, airport bus 6015 stops just across the main street – 150m from the hotel.

Myeongdong is barely a 10 minutes walk. Or you can even walk to Gwangjang market (15 mins). and 10 minutes walk to Insadong…. There are plenty shops around – GS25, CU, Paris Baguette, Starbucks etc.

Choose from 3 different categories of room types (queen, twin or family) that comes with a minimalist contemporary design with creative black and white wall murals inspired by Seoul’s famous landmarks, giving you a peaceful retreat after a day of gallivanting around the city or exploring to your heart’s content….

The room is comfortable and the beds and bedding clean and offer a good night rest!!!

I was definitely well rested during my stay there and the ensuite bathroom was also pretty spacious and came with the Japanese type of bidet and aromatherapy/ essential oil shower gel and shampoo which smell so heavenly…

The hotel also comes with a small fitness centre, as well as a self-service laundromat to cater to guests as well as a modern communal space and meeting space.

I absolutely loved that self service laundromat as it wasn’t too expensive and I got to wash my dirty laundry and bring fresh smelling clothes back home instead….

There are also irons and ironing board in the laundry room which I also did manage to put into good use as well as a microwave…

For those bringing luggage, the hotel offers a weighing scale for your baggage near their concierge area for you to check your baggage weight….

Breakfast is served at The Lodge, a restaurant lounge at B1.. they serve a simple but filling meal of vegetarian fried rice, fishcakes, sausages, fried egg, fruits , salad, and bread… juices , coffee and tea are also available…my only pet peeve was it was the same menu everyday so it tends to get a little boring after the 3rd day but then again, if you are bored, there are alot of cafes and shops nearby to explore and get your own breakfast…

I was definitely truly grateful for the convenient location for my stay at the Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro. The hotel provided me a comfortable and convenient home away from home…and highly recommend it for all looking for a convenient stay in Seoul
