Adventure Cove Waterpark, Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore

My daughter and I have been to the S.E.A Aquarium before, during a previous visit to Singapore, and we loved it there, so this time, we decided to go to the Adventure Cove for a change.

However it was slightly confusing, following the signages as I ended up nowhere… It wasn’t until I asked someone at the S.E.A Aquarium only did we find our way… It is hidden away behind the S.E.A. Aquarium…..

The Adventure Cove Waterpark has won the 2016 Travellers Choice award by Trip Advisor as one of the Top 10 Water Parks in Asia and my mini me and I were there to find out why…..

But well, you see, with thrilling slides and encounters with marine life (from colourful reef fishes, rays, dolphins and sharks)  all in a single place, it is not hard to understand how the Adventure Cove Waterpark deserved the win!!

It is here at this beautiful and idyllic waterpark, where the water’s full of life…

You can just grab a tube and float lazily down Adventure River, through 14 stunning scenes including a lush jungle garden, a mysterious grotto and an underwater tunnel with a sea of marine life swimming above and around you.

You can challenge your other half, older child or friend on a dueling high-speed competitive plunge to the finish line at the Dueling Racer ….

Try snorkelling at the Rainbow Reef and meet and greet 20,000 friendly fishes that will definitely be swimming along side you.

Personally for me, that was the best experience in a Waterpark so far.. as I doubt there are other water parks that give you this experience…

Don’t worry about getting lost as well as there are actually signages under the pool guiding you on your way and ever vigilant life guards watching over you….

Or try the Riptide Rocket, said to be Southeast Asia’s first hydro-magnetic coaster and the ultimate ride for those who loves an adrenaline rush…….

You can also propel into action-packed excitement at the Wet Maze where a two-level adventure play experience awaits. Choose to just navigate your way out of the ground level maze but watch out for sneaky water blasters, water sprays and more.

Or if you are braver, take the challenge at the upper level where a ropes course in mid-air awaits. Turn on your ninja mode to conquer the terrain with speed and wit as you watch others try to escape from the maze below

Be prepared to get wet and wild at the Big Bucket Treehouse! There is nothing more fun then getting drenched by a giant bucket tipping over gallons of water and fun in an action-packed wonderland of interactive water plays. My mini me definitely could not resist it.

You can also get lulled at the Bluwater Bay  and then catch a wave when the surf’s starts up! Come share the rush in this giant wave pool and have a swell of a time with the family

If you are interested in an encounter that is more daring, Adventure Cove offers marine life experiences such as meet and greets with bottlenose dolphins, manta rays and even sharks. Each experience is available at an additional cost with sessions either daily or hourly.

I would have dearly loved an experience with the manta rays and bottlenose dolphins but I was on a time constraint and also a tight budget so perhaps the next time…….

If you are feeling peckish, check out The Bay Restaurant there offering local favorites or one of the foodcarts…

These are some tips for your visit to Adventure Cove  as well… Bring only minimal valuables so you do not have to rent a locker… The locker cost about $10 for a small one or $20 for a larger one.  You can just put your clothes, shoes and towel in one of those pigeonholes around the Waterpark / near a ride attraction… Bring a waterproof pouch for your smartphone or a waterproof camera, I brought my Nikon S33, and had a fun time being trigger happy… and of course, try to plan your visit if you can… on a nice sunny day preferably on a weekday to avoid crowds and so on….

Entrance to the Adventure Cove costs $36 (SG) per adult or $28 for kids and senior citizens.. My mini me and I did not get to really enjoy the whole place this time so we definitely look forward to revisiting the Adventure Cove Waterpark again the next time we head back to Singapore….. Yes, it is a lot of fun here!!!!

Do not forget to stop by the Reed N Wave Wear if you need swimming suits for your visit or for souvenirs to bring home after your visit….

  1. Looks really fun snorkelling at Rainbow Reef. Have to think twice because our Malaysian Ringgit is 3 times smaller than Singapore dollars.
