Eagle Ranch Resort is pretty cool themed hotel and perfect for team building or a friend or family get together… It is located not too far from Port Dickson town and offers unique Wild Wild West styled accommodation from TeePees, Band Wagons, Log Cabins, Kampung House and so on…
And also a wide range of recreational facilities and games such as obstacle courses, abseilling, flying fox, horse riding, paintball, go- kart and such…
I was introduced to the hotel during a recent FAM trip by the Tourism Malaysia Sentral and needed to check it out and experience it further, so my besties and I decided to check in here after coming back from Muar..
The 32-acre resort also comes with swimming pools, seminar rooms, banquet halls, bars, restaurants and a horse stable and paddock.
We were warmly welcomed by the staff, all who wore cowboy style attire, upon arrival and we got our room keys to our log cabin…
We could drive our car to our cabin and park nearby but actually we could also walk from the reception as it was not that far…
Our two log cabins were impressive.. Mine came with two twin beds and a cowboy mural painted on the wall whilst the other cabin (adjoining) came with a queen bed and a mural of a red Indian painted on the wall… The beds were cosy and I definitely had a good night rest here..
The cabin came with flat screen TV, air conditioning, a mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, a cupboard, and a half opened bathroom with both a warm shower and a waterfall shower (cold water)..
It sure was a great experience staying here and imagining how it was like back in the Wild Wild West…
We got to buka puasa here at the Melting Pot cafe and I just cannot believe how affordable the buka puasa here was!! Only about RM37nett per adult!!! And the food was simple but really good and filling…
After dinner, we took a stroll around the resort before heading to Port Dickson town for some supper and karaoke session before heading back to the resort and sleep…
Early in the morning I woke up and headed to the stables to meet the horses as well as take a stroll around the resort.. I really enjoyed my stay in this rustic place…
And have nothing much to complain except for maybe the pesky flies when you are dining outside, the staff thoughtfully lighted up the lemongrass candle for us but still one or two pesky fly refuse to leave us alone..
Overall, I really like the themed hotel stay and idea behind this resort, as well as the the various activities available to keep guests occupied… And hope to be back again..
