4 eateries worth checking out in Kuala Lumpur…

Kuala Lumpur is a place where you can find a lot of good food.. There is a food stall or restaurant everywhere and so, on our recent trip Kuala Lumpur For All, with Gaya Travel Magazine and Tourism Malaysia Sentral, we discovered a few more good eateries which I am sharing here…

Bubble Bee Cafe serves some pretty yummy egg waffles shaped like bubble wrap…  You can find this around many kiosks in malls as it’s warm, very fragrant and fun to eat..These bubble egg waffles originated from Hong Kong and have spread throughout Asia…

Bubble Bee Cafe specializes in serving these bubble egg waffles with tempting toppings..

We could not resist ordering one of those mouthwatering of bubble egg waffles… I ordered the Pink Lady (RM15) waffle, which came topped with strawberries, chocolate sauce and vanilla gelato….

I also ordered the Butterfly Pea Honey Lemon (RM13) drink which was just super refreshing.

Towards the back of the cafe, there is an air well with natural sunlight coming in through the high roof, a serene place to sit for a bit of solitude, or take a selfie…  there are transparent paper lanterns hanging.. And you can also step through the back door to Kwai Chai Hong directly…

Big Baba is a Nyonya food restaurant in Taman Desa  with origins from Melaka..

I’ve been exposed to Nyonya food since I am originally from Penang and I always find it deliciously unique considering the combination of Malay, Indian and Chinese..

The food here at Big Baba is pretty good, and the restaurant decor is also pretty cool with batik touches, tiffin carriers, and turquoise bamboo blinds…

The bakers here import high-quality stone-milled organic flour for the healthiest and freshest wholemeal sourdough loaves, organic bagels and so on…

They also have a wood-burning oven that serves some really good Pizzas .. We had some magherita pizzas and some some funghi pizzas… And they were superb…

Starbucks Drive Thru Jalan Ampang is a cafe located at Jalan Ampang in Kuala Lumpur…

The management team got some local talents and artists to do murals at the walls around the Starbucks Jalan Ampang Drive-Thru and they are lovely…

We were there for some coffee tasting as well as to indulge ourselves with Starbucks special coffees….. We got to try Guatemala Antigua coffee with some cocoa and subtle spices in it…
