According to Mark Twain, “Part of the secret of success is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.”

Another favorite quote I cannot help believing would be “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.
And if you want to dine well, head on over to the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur…
Here are 4 places at the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur where you can indulge your tastebuds as you fill your stomach with great noms..

For those who are not aware, another breathtaking place to dine is Tao Restaurant at Intercontinental Hotel Kuala Lumpur…

Tao, is the Chinese restaurant located on level one of the hotel and is immediately recognizable with a Terracotta Warrior standing silent watch and the spectacular cloud-like inspired ceiling giving an impression of dining under the stars. In 2017, Tao was selected among top Malaysia’s Best Restaurants by Malaysia Tatler magazine.

Some might find the place dark, but personally, I find it a change from the normal light and airy impersonal Chinese Restaurants…

This is the place for an intimate lunch with your family and close friends or business associates… And the private rooms are all named after Chinese dynasties too!!! But what I enjoy even more is the really decadently good food made from the best ingredients there are…

On weekends, indulge in Tao’s Magnificent Brunch where you can enjoy an eat-all-you-can from both a small buffet as well as order from the menu including one special order from the Chef’s Special which includes Chef Kong’s authentic Chinese signature specialties of London Peking Duck Roll and more…

Personally I loved the Chicken Consomme with Fish Maw, Cabbage and Dried Scallop

There’s such a magnificent array of exquisite dim sum handcrafted by expert Chef Lo such as Tao Dumpling with Foie Gras Paste and Barbecued Chicken Bun with Black Garlic.
11:00am – 2:30pm on weekends only
Price: RM198nett per adult or RM128nett per child (6 – 12 years)

If you are looking for a nice private and comfortable place to dine or to impress your business associates, Tao is one of the place to visit. Overall, the food and environment here is sheer perfection…

Tatsu Japanese is an established Japanese restaurant just next to Tao Chinese Restaurant…

The ambiance emphasises on dark timber woods to complement the touch of sea cobalt blue and white colour palettes for an atmosphere that pleases senses and appetites. The restaurant also features a private Sake bar surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass windows that offer a breath-taking view of the beautifully landscaped garden and cascading waterfall.
The bar serves more than 20 types of Sake, Shochu and wine, while Tatsu’s Sushi Bar provides an abundance of the freshest seafood flown in twice a week from Japan.

I haven’t had a chance to try the food here so I will share about it the next time I do…
