Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park is now Opened for Public…

Southeast Asia’s most anticipated theme park is now opened!!!! And to visit, just grab your tickets via the Genting SkyWorlds Website (gentingskyworlds.com) and download the Genting SkyWorlds Mobile App and you are all good to go!!!

The best part of this is , as part of the theme park’s soft opening, Genting SkyWorlds is offering a cool 20% discount from its published rates from 8 February to 31 March 2022!!!!

Do be sure to take the opportunity to visit during this soft opening period as you can also enjoy complimentary Virtual Queue (VQ) and Photo+ access available, where guests can download and share unlimited digital photo contents!!!!

After purchasing your tickets online, you need to download the Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park mobile app, which is available for free on Google Play, Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery. Not only is the app a comprehensive guide to Genting SkyWorlds, with real-time information, it also enables guests to navigate and experience the park virtually prior to arrival, giving a head-start on what to do, where to go and how to get there.

Among other features, guests will be able to check wait times for rides, attractions and shows; receive promotional offers and discount vouchers; discover dining, shopping, games, and Genting SkyWorlds advanced Photo+service.

In a first for a Southeast Asia region, the app is also integrated with the park’s Virtual Queue (VQ) technology, an intelligent feature which will reduce long waits in physical lines, giving guests more freedom to do what they want AND at a time they choose!

Genting SkyWorlds VQ also allows you to create boarding groups for multiple ticket holders, view recommended itineraries based on personal preferences, and receive real-time alerts for attraction reservations, availability, and must-see entertainment….

However, during this soft opening period, some attractions undergo the final commissioning process and remain unavailable to guests….

Opening a theme park during the pandemic has been a challenge, and whilst every effort has been made to ensure full offerings are available, a small selection of attractions require a little more time to be completed, something the team is working hard on…

Built across 26 acres at an elevation of 6,000 feet above sea level, Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park will take guests on a sky-high adventure through nine movie and adventure inspired ‘worlds’, incorporating original Intellectual Properties (IPs), as well as movie-themed fun and excitementacross its world-class rides and attractions. Yours truly had such an amazing time over there with her close friends hopping from one available ride to another and I just cannot wait to be back for more once for Genting SkyWorlds Grand Opening as I have seen several rides I really want to try but which is not yet opened…

Our adventure begins from /at the majestic Studio Plaza… the golden interiors can be a little decadent but it is meant to celebrate of all things cinema…

Then we turned right and found ourselves in Rio, where it’s a summer party, all day, every day with samba music urging you to let loose and dance while you admire the colourful facades….

Go on a pre-historic adventure with Scrat, Sid, Manny,Diego and their friends from Ice Age…

From pre-historic times, take a trip thousands pf years to the future and go on a galactic escapade, at Andromeda Base where your bravery is tested in various challenges, and you are called to join the Boot Camp Training, join the Alpha Fighter Pilots and brave the looming Terraform Tower of terror!

Return to the present and head to the buzzing town square at Central Park to experience the best of world-class attractions, dining, retail and live entertainment. Central Park excites with a Night at the Museum and a pretty marvellous fountain show at the Lake of Dreams…

One of the best rides at Genting SkyWorlds would be Independence Day Defiance and it is found here!!!

Liberty Lane is inspired by the streets of San Francisco, and comes to life with unique stores, food locations, and an exhilarating attraction from Planet of the Apes

There’s also Epic, Robots Rivet Town, Eagle Mountain which I did not really get to check out as it wasn’t fully opened and I didn’t have enough time…

And psst… here’s a great tip for a place to eat at Genting SkyWorlds… for delicious halal local food, head to Cosmic Cafe… you can get a good meal for less then RM30… the noodles portion is seriously generous and can be shared too!!!’
