Hotel Review 2022 – Centra by Centara Phu Pano Resort Krabi, Thailand

One of the other hotels I stayed in in Krabi that pretty much took my breath away was the Centra by Centara Phu Pano Resort Krabi…

This modern and exotic hotel which was surrounded by sheer limestone cliffs was welcoming and carefree… The room featured 158 rooms with the design echoing the lush and somewhat surreal surroundings with Hanuman the monkey king as the main character and mascot of the hotel…

You can see murals of Hanuman in the room and at the reception area and the fountain is surrounded by both the monkey and also the fish- Hanuman…

The bright, cheery and stylish rooms here boast soothing views of the majestic limestone cliffs and shimmering pool, providing residential comfort for families and couples alike.

The Centra Phu Pano Resort Krabi is definitely kid friendly with a children’s pool, and beautifully appointed family-friendly residences with bunk beds.

The pool area is also spacious with a “stairway to heaven” and angel wings for photo opportunities etc

My room, which was the Family Room Pool View room was really a perfect spot for a relaxing hideaway with loved ones. The wooden accents and soothing colour palette add to this 48-sqm residence modern elegance.

Situated on the lower floors, the airy living space blends seamlessly with the furnished balcony.

As I was on my own in this beautiful hotel, I was a little lazy to go out for dinner, and chose to indulge myself at the in-house bistro by the pool – Mix Bistro with a lovely Thai Hot Pot which was just 350 baht !!!!

It came with generous spread of vegetables and seafood in a cute personal claypot and charcoal clay stove and delicious thai dipping sauces which made the meal simply delicious!!!!

You can spend your days venturing in and around Aonang Krabi, or even exploring the underwater world in the Andaman Sea with the Ao Nam Mao pier about 10 minutes away (the gateway to the islands of Krabi and beyond) or just simply relax ar the lovely pool against the backdrop of limestone formation and lush forests.
