Food Review 2023 – Larn Ta Chu by Thongmanee, Hatyai, Thailand

My love for Thai food knows no bounds because there is always a perfect balance of sweet, sour, and spicy in every dish…..

Larn Ta Chu by Thongmanee is a restaurant that serves a vast variety of food style that include Thai, Western, Japanese, Italian and an assortment of drinks.…

Larn Ta Chu restaurant is said to be very quite popular in Patthalung and has a few branches, and I was lucky to get to try this restaurant branch in Hatyai

Here are some if the dishes we got to savour…

FISH MEAT WITH TARO SOUP – this was pretty unique I guess but am personally not quite such a fan of taro so I only had the fish and soup…..

THAI SOUR CURRY WITH DEEP FRIED SEABASS (WHOLE) – this was pretty delicious and came with an extra bowl of gravy

STIR-FRIED CHICKEN WITH CASHEW NUTS – the chicken was stir-fried in slightly spicy gravy and it tasted great

STIR-FRIED MIXED VEGETABLES WITH SEAFOOD – consisting of a lot of lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, shrimps, mushrooms and carrots… definitely delicious and healthy

STEAMED SEAFOOD IN CURRY PASTE WITH YOUNG COCONUT – this dish is pretty much like our Malaysian Nyonya otak -otak but more watery since it is actually curry paste

STEAMED EGG HOT POT WITH SEAFOOD – this dish is pretty much like the Chinese steamed egg or the Japanese Chawan mushi but with a lot of seafood from mussels, shrimps and cuttlefish being on top… definitely one of my personal favorites

Most of the Larn Ta Chu’s restaurants are famous for great service and friendly staffs who are always ready to assist…
