Looking for a tablet that can work hard without weighing you down? Meet the new HUAWEI MatePad Air, now officially launched in Malaysia! 🎉
Described as an ultra-thin, PC-like AI tablet, it combines a sleek design with smart AI features to make work, studying, creativity and entertainment a whole lot easier.
✨ Super Slim, Super Portable
At just 5.3mm thin and weighing only 509g, the MatePad Air is seriously easy to carry.
Whether you’re working at your desk, chilling at a café, heading to a meeting or commuting around town, this tablet is designed to go wherever you go.
And it comes in three stylish colours — Airy Blue, White and Sakura Pink — because who says productivity gadgets have to look boring? 😍
💻 Your Smart Work Buddy
The MatePad Air comes with PC-level WPS Office, now enhanced with WPS AI.
Need to create presentation slides? Draft a document? Improve your writing? Summarise a long PDF? Analyse a spreadsheet?
WPS AI can help with all that, making it easier to turn those “I have no idea where to start” moments into polished work.
📝 Notes That Do More
For students, professionals and anyone who takes way too many notes, HUAWEI Notes is packed with useful AI features.
AI Speech-to-Text can record and transcribe lectures, meetings and discussions, while AI Handwriting Enhancementhelps make handwritten notes neater and easier to read.
You can also annotate PDFs and use the AI Tutor for step-by-step explanations in subjects such as chemistry, economics, biology and physics.
Basically, it’s like having a very patient study buddy built into your tablet. 😆
👀 A Display Made for Work & Play
The 12-inch 2.8K Ultra-Clear OLED PaperMatte Display gives you a big, immersive screen with a 92% screen-to-body ratio and ultra-slim 4.69mm bezels.
With up to 1,200 nits peak brightness, visuals look bright and detailed, while the PaperMatte finish helps reduce glare and reflections.
The result? A more comfortable, paper-like viewing experience — whether you’re reading documents, watching videos or scrolling through your favourite content.
✍️ Meet Your New Digital Pen
Pair it with the HUAWEI M-Pencil Pro and things get even more interesting.
The stylus supports pinch, press and rotate gestures, along with an impressive 16,384 pressure sensing levels for precise writing and drawing.
It can also swipe to turn pages and work as an Air Mouse, letting you control presentation slides remotely.
Perfect for presentations — and for pretending you’re conducting an orchestra while flipping through slides. 😂
🔋 Power That Keeps Up
Despite its slim profile, the MatePad Air packs plenty of power.
It runs on the Kirin T93C octa-core chip, supports up to 8GB of virtual memory and comes with a huge 10,100mAh battery.
Plus, 66W HUAWEI SuperCharge helps get you powered up quickly, so you can spend less time hunting for a charger and more time getting things done.
