The new STARGAZER comes with Hyundai SmartSense, Hyundai’s suite of advanced driver assistance technologies.
Depending on the variant, the STARGAZER is equipped with ADAS 2.0 features including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist and Lane Following Assist.
These features are designed to support drivers with greater awareness and convenience, whether navigating busy city roads or heading out on a longer highway journey.
The STARGAZER Prime also comes with six airbags, adding another layer of occupant protection.
Inside the cabin, comfort is given plenty of attention too. Roof-mounted rear air-conditioning vents help keep passengers comfortable, while selected variants feature dual 10.25-inch displays, wireless charging and an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold.
Basically, there is plenty here to keep both the driver and passengers happy during everyday drives and longer family adventures.
A More Stylish Take on the MPV
One thing that caught my attention is that Hyundai hasn’t gone for the typical MPV look.
The new STARGAZER has a more futuristic and expressive design, giving it a modern character that feels aimed at a new generation of family car buyers.
And if you prefer something with a little more SUV-inspired attitude, the STARGAZER X takes things up another notch.
It gets sporty front and rear bumpers, a sporty rear spoiler, black Hyundai emblems and black gloss alloy wheels.
Inside, the STARGAZER X gets a 2+2+2 captain-seat configuration, giving the cabin a more spacious and premium feel. It also comes with full leatherette seats and Shift-By-Wire transmission control.
Three Variants to Choose From
The new Hyundai STARGAZER is available in three variants, giving buyers different options depending on their needs and budget.
STARGAZER Style — RM99,800
The entry-level STARGAZER Style comes with a seven-seat 2+3+2 layout, LED headlamps with H-signature daytime running lights, an 8-inch multimedia player, 4.2-inch TFT LCD Meter Colour Cluster and 16-inch alloy wheels.
STARGAZER Prime — RM109,800
Stepping up to the Prime brings more technology and safety features, including dual 10.25-inch displays, Hyundai SmartSense ADAS 2.0 and six airbags.
STARGAZER X — RM121,800
At the top of the range is the STARGAZER X, which adds its more distinctive SUV-inspired styling, 2+2+2 captain chairs, full leatherette seats and Shift-By-Wire transmission control.
More Value for New Owners
Hyundai Motor Malaysia is also introducing several ownership benefits for the new STARGAZER.
During the launch period, customers can opt for the Early Bird Value Package at RM4,600, inclusive of the RM88 booking fee. The package comes with 8 times or 4 years of free after-sales service.
There is also a RM1,000 All-Star Reward for existing Hyundai owners purchasing a new STARGAZER.
New owners will also be supported by an 8-year / 160,000km myHyundaiCare warranty programme, subject to terms and conditions.
But perhaps one of the more interesting additions is the STARGAZER Resale Value Protection (RVP) Programme.
The programme provides a predetermined resale value when owners upgrade to a new Hyundai vehicle, helping provide greater clarity around the car’s future value.
Customers can choose to upgrade based on the following:
- 70% in the third year, up to 60,000km
- 60% in the fourth year, up to 80,000km
- 50% in the fifth year, up to 100,000km
