Hotel Review 2020 – Hilton Kuala Lumpur

Since my initial dreams of having a nice Balinese birthday holiday was dashed cruelly by Covid19, I was really in need of some self pampering to sooth my disappointment and Hilton Kuala Lumpur was just perfect and so more then I anticipated…

Checking in was a breeze, after the neccessary QR code tracking, temperature taking at the entrances as well as the declaration of not having been anywhere with Covid19, I was quickly checked in and handed my key cards..

There were hand sanitizers at the reception and also near the elevator and on all floors including all rooms…

When I got to my room, I was really impressed to find a room seal on the door which is to indicate to guests that the room has not been accessed since being thoroughly cleaned….

Hilton Kuala Lumpur also practises “10 High-Touch, Deep Clean Areas” where they focus extra disinfection of… Such as the most frequently touched guests room areas – light switches, door handles, TV remotes, thermostats and more…

The 473 sqft Hilton Deluxe Twin room I checked to was most cosy and I was truly surprised and touched by the nice birthday decoration, card and cake given as I entered my home for the night…

It is said that all 510 Hilton Kuala Lumpur guest rooms come with floor-to-ceiling windows for a panoramic view – mine faced the lake gardens and I can also glimpse the pool…

My room came with large flat screen TVs, state-of-the-art modern amenities and technology with open concept bathrooms complete rain shower and using Crabtree Evelyn amenities… But if you are in need of privacy, you can of course, close the sliding doors

I was also impressed to notice that all the towels and the bathrobes/slippers have been sanitised and packed into cardboard boxes and sealed for minimise exposure and that the tv remote control was also sealed in a plastic…

Hilton Kuala Lumpur delivers 5-star luxury in the most convenient location which is KL Sentral and is just 28 minutes by direct high-speed train from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and 33 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2). The hotel is also easily accessible from key shopping and entertainment districts, steps away from Nu Sentral, a 9-story shopping mall and to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers in the city centre.

The Hilton has a pretty large and well equipped fitness center which is located on the 8th floor.

The pool area is also beautiful and spacious with a slide and man-made caves that link to Le Meridien and waterfalls…

Breakfast comes on a menu at Vascos but you can choose from a generous selection of Continental, American, Japanese, Chinese and Malaysian which is served with unlimited bread basket, juices, coffee and tea and a small fruit platter….

Craving something different, I opted for the Japanese breakfast and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was…

Overall, I definitely had an amazing stay here at Hilton Kuala Lumpur, the staff are all super welcoming and efficient, and it is no wonder it is an award winning hotel with numerous awards won…

I definitely look forward to being back again sometime in the future…
