Magic World in Penang is a small scale theme park with a combination of Magic & Movie Tricks. If you have ever been intrigue about optical illusions etc and would love to know more of how it works or be a part of it, this is the place you should visit!
The exhibits / rooms are refreshed every few months so it does not get boring, and that there will always be something new…
So since my last trip was back in 2018, I had a surprised when I walked into one section and found myself in a whole new place with the black and white 2D wall as well as 3D and 5D murals you can pose and take photos with with your loved ones and besties

Seriously, I found myself swallowed alive by a giant Venus Flytrap, got chased by some giant orc and also burnt to crisp by a dragon at the 5D section with the Amazing Studio app…..
It starts with a magic mirror maze which you have to find your way out of (or into the “park”) where you will experience different optical illusions etc…
Magic World Penang is one of the super cool place for your whole family or with your best buddies to have fun and spend quality time together to built rapport!
You can trick your friends with the optical illusion photos, get confused in the mirror maze and also have some yummy hot meals with the new Seafood Menu – check out our lunch or icy desserts at the coolest place in George Town, Ice Cafe!
Ice Cafe is the last stop after our visit to. The Magic World ended… It is part of the Magic World, so you have to go through the cafe before you exit the building..
As our stomach was growling by the time we finished with the interesting exhibits and murals, we decided to have something from the menu and we ordered the Seafood Lobster set (RM50) that came with two bowls of rice or noodles and you can also add on extra drinks, rice or noodles for RM1.50 each…
Our meal came beautifully presented and tasted even more better…. There was half a small lobster, prawns, clams, squids, broccoli and corn with a delicious sauce that went well with both the rice and noodles..
And well, what is a visit to Ice Cafe without indulging in something cold…
We ordered some Iced Chocolate (RM15) which came with whipped cream on top and also a Mixed Ice Cream (5 scoops) (RM29) to share for dessert and believe me it was superb and oh so filling…
“TRUST NO ONE, JUST HAVE FUN” and be sure to visit Magic World Penang and the Ice Cafe when you are in Penang!!!
