Hotel Review 2022 – Sandakan Hotel and Bilit

For my trip to Sandakan with Tourism Malaysia Sabah, we stayed at the Hotel Sandakan which came with 105 tastefully furnished rooms and 14 suites…

This classic hotel is located in the middle of the town and conveniently walking distance to most of the popular sights (right next door to the oldest mosque in Sabah – Masjid Jamek ) and the heritage trails of Sandakan!!! It’s also just a 5 minute walk to the Creative Lane, Sandakan Art Murals, the mall and Sandakan Central Market…

They are fully equipped with all amenities needed for a restful stay including complimentary Wi-Fi internet access, in-room safety box, mini fridge and colour TV with satellite channels.

The lobby area was bright, colourful and welcoming and the staff were friendly and professional…

Our room – the Selingan Superior Twin room was 19 sq metres in size… came with comfortable twin beds and I certainly had a truly good night’s rest

The attached bathroom was clean and came with good water pressure …

A simple but good breakfast was served at the Palm Cafe to start our day!!!

Hotel Sandakan also has a ballroom which can fit as much as 300 people for any occasion
