Food Review 2023 – Kay’s Steak and Lobster, IOI Conezion

to absolute perfection….

If you’re overwhelmed by the wide selection from their menu, here are some recommendations for you. If you are visiting the restaurant with your date, don’t miss out on their delicious pastas…

I was there recently with friends and we enjoyed their Wagyu Bolognese – made from Napoli sauce, minced Wagyu beef, Grana Padano, pappardelle; Creamy Carbonara – made from Panko breaded chicken, smoked Angus streaky beef, parmesan tuiles and linguine….. oh they are really lip smacking good!!!

Then we also ordered their Salted Egg Soft Shell Crab – made with salted egg sauce, fried curry leaves and linguine; and their Aglio Olio – prepared with fresh tiger prawns, mussels, chilli, garlic, fresh parsley tossed in extra virgin olive oil and linguine!!! Heavenly!!!!

Or if you want to impress your date or splurge a little more, do be sure to try out their oh-so-yummy halal Beef Wellington!

The filling is made from Flinders Natural Tenderloin, mushroom duxelles and streaky beef wrapped in delicious puff pastry and baked till golden…. Then it is served with mashed potato, Chef’s salad and blackcurrant jus!!!

This platter is highly recommended for couples or besties

And despite a 45 minutes wait, it is definitely so worth the time as you get to savour in all that tenderness and juiciness wrapped in delicious slightly crispy puff… however, it would be best if you ordered or made a reservation for this, at least a day in advance, especially during weekends to avoid disappointment!!!!
