Cafe hopping fan? Songkhla Old Town have a lot of nice cafes to explore!!!!

We got busy exploring a few on my second day in Songkhla….

Duen Chay Cafe du Museum ( https://instagram.com/banduenchay )- Duen Chay is pretty much an all in one coffee shop, bakery, restaurant and museum …

You will be welcomed by the aroma of coffee and fresh baked bread as you step into the café… towards the back of the cafe is another building where plenty of antique collections, art pieces and artefacts the owners painstakingly collected over the years from all over Thailand as well as some parts of the world are displayed and showcased…

You can dine here surrounded by the collections indulging in refreshing longan drinks and beautiful fusion set lunches that look almost to good to eat but taste just amazing.. we had some Roasted Sea Bass in Salt, Lemongrass and Chilli with rice, a delicious basket of fusion treats in a basket tray consisting of Chicken Satay, Pumpkin Sauce Shrimp Cocktail with Salsa, Salmon baked with Spicy Sauce and Olive Oil on Rice Flour paper…and a yummy bowl of Tom Kha Ghai…..

Stand Brew ( https://instagram.com/stand_brew )- Stand Brew is cafe serving a variety of coffee, matcha and tea and cakes in a cosy ambience of old and new….

It is said that they serve absolutely amazing orange coffee! However, since it was late afternoon and I wasn’t quite in the mood for black coffee, I had a caramel latte which certainly hit all the right places…

The drinks and cakes here are pretty highly recommended!!!!
