Samsung Electronics demonstrated the future of education at ISTELive 2026, unveiling its latest innovations in connected classroom technology and artificial intelligence (AI) that are set to empower educators and create more engaging, personalised learning experiences.

The global technology leader showcased a range of software enhancements for its Android-based Interactive Display portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to helping schools improve collaboration, streamline device management and support the diverse learning needs of today’s students.

Leading Samsung’s latest announcements were the introduction of the Account Management Solution (AMS), expanded Samsung AI Assistant capabilities, and enhancements to the Samsung Education Portal.

Designed to simplify classroom management, AMS (Account Management Solution) allows teachers to securely log into compatible Samsung Interactive Displays using either a QR code or NFC-enabled ID card. Within seconds, educators can access their personal apps, teaching materials, files and customised settings from any compatible display across the school campus.

Meanwhile, the enhanced Samsung Education Portal provides IT administrators with a centralised platform to manage users, classroom devices and emergency alerts more efficiently, making campus-wide technology management easier than ever.

During the session, Madeleine Mortimore, Global Education Innovation & Research Lead at Logitech, highlighted the importance of combining hardware, software and educational pedagogy to deliver meaningful classroom experiences.

She explained that today’s classrooms require more than standalone devices.

“It’s no longer enough to have a device with an app and call it a day. The right combination of hardware and software enables students to hear and be heard, see and be seen, and interact effectively with both the technology and their peers.”

Tambra Clark, Technology Integration Facilitator at Birmingham City Schools and a Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Top 10 winner, described the Circle to Search feature as a valuable time-saving tool that helps teachers quickly locate credible educational resources without interrupting lessons.

She also praised the combination of Live Transcript, AI Summary, and AI Quiz, calling them powerful tools for lesson reflection and student assessment.

“The transcription component is the secret sauce. It listens to your lesson, creates a summary and even generates a quiz from what you taught. It becomes an incredible reflective tool for teachers while helping identify where students may need additional support.”

Meanwhile, Jelena Zivko, Senior Instructional Technology Specialist at Volusia County School District, highlighted how Samsung’s AMS simplifies teaching for educators who frequently move between classrooms.

With seamless logins, teachers can instantly access their personalised teaching environment, lesson materials and files from any compatible Interactive Display.

She also noted that the technology could greatly benefit substitute teachers, multilingual classrooms and hybrid learning environments through AI-generated summaries and transcripts.

Expanding Samsung’s Interactive Display Portfolio

Samsung also unveiled its upcoming Android-based Interactive Display lineup, including the:

• WAF-S
• WAFX-PS
• WAHX-M

The new displays will run on Android 16, feature enhanced AI capabilities and, for the first time, introduce a 98-inch Interactive Display designed specifically for lecture theatres, collaborative learning spaces and larger classrooms.

The expanded portfolio reflects Samsung’s continued investment in delivering scalable educational technology that meets the evolving needs of schools and higher education institutions.
