Spa Review 2020 – Divana Scentuara Spa, Bangkok (with KK Day)

Getting myself an Aromatherapy Body Massage at the Divana Scentuara Spa in Bangkok was definitely a wonderful way to spoil myself to a luxurious spa treatment…

I selected my spa package treatment on KK Day, my favorite leading e-commerce travel platform that connects travelers with authentic local tours & activities and took the Grab there to the Divana Scentuara Spa at Soi Somkid in Lumphini….

I was at awe just as I walked through the door to a very well redesigned, cultural house over 90 years old and it has a tree growing in what seemed to be an aquarium but on a closer look, you realise the house has actually been built around the tree…

The Divana Scentuara Spa is indeed very welcoming with the refreshing scents of essential oils…

You are invited to sit down and one of the therapist will bring a tray of cold herbal tea and a refreshing cold towel with what looks like a rose on the side, for you to relax…

The receptionist will then ask about your preferred pressure level and where you would like them to pay more attention to or where to limit attention to areas…

Then she will introduce you their signature massage oils and ask which would your preferred oil be, before you get taken away to your private treatment room…

Since my friend and I requeated for the 90 minutes aromatherapy massage treatment, we were given a private couple room…

There were two spa beds, two huge earthen pots which doubled as the bath, a bathroom and a toilet… The room was pretty, spacious and clean…

We were left to change into our disposable undies before the therapist came back…

The treatment begins with a warm foot soak/foot wash and then your feet will be spritzed with a foot toner that makes it feel cooling..

Then the treatment follows with a leisure aromatherapy massage using the aromatherapy oil of your choice…

I asked for light pressure with the Pitta Ginger Olive aromatherapy oil and my therapist’s optimal stroking techniques with the relaxing massaging oil soothed my aching shoulders and back… As well as my legs which were pretty weary from all the walking done during my travels…

The feeling was so relaxing and cosy I dozed off only to be awaken when my therapist asked me to turn over… Hehehe…

When the treatment was over we were left to either take a shower with exclusive Divana spa toiletries or just get dressed with the exclusive Divana aromatherapy oil which has been rubbed into our skin…

Once done, we were escorted to the main reception where some hot herbal tea and some banana pineapple balls served in a hollowed out small pineapple.. Definitely A+ in my opinion for effort…
